Bad Ass Potty Training: Revisited

>> Monday, May 03, 2010

I have been a little hesitant to say anything but.....

Lily has been rocking out the potty. Hey she isn't even two yet. Give it up people. Questioning my tactics? See here for original visitation

No really. At least once a day (even daycare days: think maybe three hours at home) she is going at least once sometimes two times a day.

She started asking to go to the potty last week.

I moved the potty out of the closed bathroom and she went and sat unattended and peepeed all by herself.

Yeah my kid is a rockstar.

Now to get her to go at daycare...

Getting them to go at daycare is the hardest bc they are not as comfortable there. It took 2 or 3 weeks of pottying at home b4 he went at daycare. BTW, we had poop success this morning so hopefully this is the start of a trend.

"Children are potty trained in a time frame that fits their parents' expectations" - Martin Herbert. Go on with your bad-ass self! It's only early to those in the mindset that children shouldn’t start until much later. You know your child, you know how smart she is, and her abilities. You expected Lily to be potty trained by the time she was 2 and she is! Your high expectations and strong intuition has paid off. I plan for my kids to be trained by the time they are 2 as well.
